Not seeing form 8889 on my return transcript- please help

In 2020 I mailed my taxes in, they processed in October with no issues.

 

today I was reviewing my account and I do not see my form 8889 HSA on my return transcript. I’m 100% positive it was in the package mailed in ( I have a picture of the whole package being put together ).

 

Should I be concerned . I don’t want to get in trouble. Is it possible they have it and I just can’t see it on that transcript.

"Should I be concerned?" - No. You have a copy of your original return, right? The IRS knows that this has been a grueling period for them especially, so the idea of a form on a paper return getting mislaid won't be shocking.

 

If anyone ever writes to you about it, just produce your copy of the form(s) in your response. The IRS has a multitude of other fish to fry this Lent.
