NJ-No Direct Deposit when tax due

Hi,

I have file federal, NY non resident and NJ resident through TurboTax app. I selected direct deposit for all three returns. Although I see bank information on federal and NY returns, I don’t see it on NJ return. On dd1 line it was 4 for no direct deposit. Is this the correct entry when I need to pay tax due? I have tax due on both NY and NJ returns and set direct deposit payment date on 4/14/2025 (shows on NY return). But I’m now concerned whether NJ tax due will be paid on time.

Direct deposit is only available when you have a refund. Direct debit is used when you owe money. Honestly, it is easier to just pay the states online. Otherwise, when the state gets through the paperwork and processes the debit is a variable. You can change your selection to "I will mail it in" and then just pay online instead. You can pay anytime it is convenient for you.
