My wife was hired as an expert witness. I entered this in the wrong place on my return and my state (AZ) paid only part of my refund. How do I correct this?

I've filled out the amended return as correctly as the program asked me to. What do I have to do now?

Are there not mailing instructions in the printed output? Amended returns must be mailed, not e-filed.

Arizona says that it wants "A copy of the 2019 tax return you are amending, including supporting forms, schedules, and worksheets."

Did the amendment change anything on your federal return as well? Then you will have to amend your federal return as well, which is also printed and mailed.

Please see the Arizona Instructions for amending a return for more information.

My problem is not in how the return was handled. When I finished my return, TurboTax checked it and said it was '100%' accurate and it was ok to file it. Now I'm finding out there was a mistake somewhere and Arizona is saying part of my return will not be sent. I think this is the fault of TurboTax and they should be responsible for correcting it - and I shouldn't have to have a CPA examine my return for which I will have to pay $120. However, I can't get to talk to a human to explain the problem. I"m getting very frustrated.
