The IRS estimates most taxpayers will receive their refund via direct deposit within 21 days after acceptance. If you have EIC on your return, it did delay returns this year until late Feb. Most returns are currently being processed.

If you elected to have your fees deducted from your refund, the IRS will send your return to Santa Barbara Bank, where they will deduct the fees and then deposit any remaining refund into your account.
