My taxes still say pending why haven't I received a notification that the IRS received my taxes

I go on TurboTax and it still says pending I haven't received an email that they have received my taxes and it's been like 7 days

The IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until at least the end of January.  Your return will be in pending until then.  Watch your emails--you will find out in a few weeks.
