My tax was filed and accepted, then I received a corrected 1099-DIV. I am now due a $2 refund. Should I file an amended return or will the IRS do the correction itself?

nope. the IRS does not do corrections for this.  I've been in a similar situation a couple of times in the past and the IRS never issued the refund on its own. I waited over 6 months after filing but in the end, I had to file amended returns. More than $2 was involved. you are not required to file an amended return
