My tax return on the IRS website says my refund is "Action required " and I had to take a video selfie and now I have to wait for a piece of mail? How long will this take

This is my third year filing and I did everything correct to my knowledge. Any advice or reassurance is appreciated

The IRS is requesting additional information to protect your identity.   Once all of the information is provided, the IRS will review and verify and then notify you in writing about the status of your return.
