Since the IRS phone lines are closed I can’t call, and there doesn’t seem to be any other way to verify if it was received or not. It’s been at least 5 weeks now. Should I keep waiting

For a mailed return it can take up to 4 weeks to see track it. It will take up 6 weeks to receive your refund. The IRS is currently working on keeping up with helping taxpayers, processing returns and issuing refunds to the "greatest extent possible."
