You can check to see how many dependency exemptions are being claimed on your return.

Go to My Account>Tools>View Tax Summary

Look at the Exemption Amount

Divide the number to the right on that line by

4,050, the 2016 exemption amount.

That number (1, 2, 3, etc.) is the total number of dependents claimed on your return.  Add up the people that you would like listed on your tax return.

If you go into your Tax Summary (instructions above) and look at Exemption Amount, that'll tell you the number of exemptions claimed.
