My tax check was adjusted for previous owed taxes. And I'm aware of 750 that may be held as well but the amount pending to my account is half of shown amount on IRS site.

TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS once they have accepted your return. 

 

There are a few reasons why your refund might be less than what was shown in TurboTax:

 

1. The IRS found a discrepancy in your return

2. You paid your TurboTax fees with your refund

3. The IRS offset your refund
