My son's social security card does not have 'Not valid for employment' printed on it. Why am I getting this message?

This is from a checkbox in the interview for dependent information. 
To make the corrections to your dependent:

1. Please click on My Info on the left menu
2. Scroll down to Dependents and click on Edit
3. Scroll down to the name of the dependent
4. Click on Edit and continue through the screens
5. Watch for the Let's get SSN or ITIN screen and uncheck the box
6. Continue through the screens until you are back to the
7. Your Children and Others You Support screen, to save the changes
