If you have already filed then no ... if the IRS was to ever question it you can correct the oversite at that time.
I appreciate the answer. This is a better explanation of problem:
On my return on Part III (3) it asks you details for your primary institution and secondary institution (if any) in regards to educational credits. Turbo Tax messed up and listed my school under both columns. This may not be a big deal due to the same EIN number being on both.
The concern is with one question. Did the student receive form 1098-T from this institution for 2020 with box 7 checked. Although my school, UT Dallas is listed twice in both columns, the answer to this question is Yes under one and No in the other. The correct answer was no.
Does this matter? Does it change return $ amount? Should I amend after receiving return? I e-filed.
