My return was approved but said it would mail my refund. I requested direct deposit and always have used same bank. Why are they mailing it and won't direct deposit ?

Only the IRS can tell you why.

Sorry, but IRS won't tell you anything! We've been doing direct deposit for years, and have never had a problem until now. We have been using the same account information, and all of the paperwork filed, had been filled out correctly. However, when looking at the IRS website, it shows we are being mailed a paper check. When calling the IRS, they were not able to tell me anything. I was told that they could not see the paperwork filed. All they can see, is what's on the web-site! So much for them being any help!
