My refund was sent to the IRS on January 4th, 2019. Today is February 2nd, and the IRS Where'sMyRefund tool still displays no information regarding my tax return.

Most refunds are disbursed within 21 days from the date they are accepted. However, if you claimed the EIC or Additional Child Tax Credit, the IRS will begin issuing tax refunds on these returns on February 27, 2019 per the rules of the PATH act. For this reason you may not see an updated status until late February. For more information on the PATH act, please see the TurboTax FAQ below.

Does it say the refund is being processed, or does it say no return found or incorrect information entered?

It states: "We cannot provide any information about your refund."

Turbo Tax, moreover, displays that my refund was already accepted by the IRS on the 14th of January, which I know is not possible.  The issue is whether or not the IRS even received my refund, because the information Turbo Tax has provided me is unreliable.

Please make sure everything you are entering is correct by verifying the following information on your return.

Please make sure you are entering the exact amount of your refund as shown on your federal tax return.

• If you filed a Form 1040NR, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 73a.

• If you filed a Form 1040PR, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.
• If you filed a Form 1040SS, the Refund Amount is shown on Line 13a.

Additionally, be certain you are choosing the correct filing status.

• If you filed a Form 1040, the Filing Status is shown on the top of the form above your name and social security number.
• If you filed a Form 1040NR, the Filing Status is shown on Page 1, Boxes 1 through 6
• If you filed a Form 1040NR-EZ, the Filing Status is shown on Page 1, Boxes 1 through 2
• If you filed a Form 1040PR, the Filing Status is shown on Page 1, Part 1 Line 1

Is that what it says under "Refund status results"?

Yes the IRS could have accepted your return on Jan 14.  They did pull some returns early for testing.

Make sure you are using the refund amount from your actual federal tax return and not the combined amount Turbo Tax showed you at the end.  That was for federal and state combined.

Also, did you apply for the EIC or ACTC? Do you see anything for topic 152?

Is this the full message you see?
"We cannot provide any information about your refund.  If you electronically filed a complete and accurate tax return you should receive your refund in about 21 days from the received date. If you mailed your return please allow 6 weeks. "
