Most refunds are issued in less than 21 days. For those claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), refunds are typically available by March 3 (today)  if there are no issues

To check your refund status, use the Where's My Refund? tool on IRS.gov or the IRS2Go app

Remember, many factors can affect refund timing, and some returns may require additional review. The IRS advises not to rely on receiving a refund by a specific date for major purchases or bills

Still no update on irs website. Just still processing.  How can I figure out what's going on. And if I am getting a notice in the mail when could I possibly expect it? Thanks

Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.

If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
