My refund tax code 846 says I am to get a deposit 2/24 and I paid for the 5 days early. I did not receive my deposit in my account today. Where’s my money?

I understand there is time left in the day yet however who do I contact to get my refund back of $25 if not bc phone reps cant issue refunds.

Remember that the “”5 day early” date is based on the date given to you on the IRS refund site—-not the date the TT site shows in your account.   If your refund does not come in five days ahead of the IRS date, they are supposed to cancel the $25 fee.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

hello- I am not going off of anything TurboTax related. The 846 is in my actual tax transcripts on the IRS website. I am a daily cycle code 04 and I had the 846 code (refund deposited) on 2/24/25. This is on its.gov. The where’s my refund site on irs.gov never updates until one day AFTER the tax transcript does, so essentially it is always one day behind.

which is why I posted the question Where’s my money? Because according to the IRS my refund is to be deposited 2/24/25 and today is 2/19/25, 5 days early……. So today is my TT deposit date according to their 5 day @$25 offer…… it doesn’t say “up to 5 days early” it says “pay $25 and get 5 days early” even in fine print there is no “up to”

Again, im not going off of TT website, not sure how that may have gotten misconstrued in my post. I am using irs.gov , tax transcripts, account transcripts 2024, looking at my cycle code which ends in 04 (I am a daily updater) and I have a code 846 (refund deposited date code) added yesterday. This means my refund is being deposited 2/24/25, but since I opted to pay the $25 it should be in there today or I get refunded. Hope that cleared it up. 🙂
