My parents claimed me the last 2 years and this year I filed . I recieved a 4883c letter... i dont have any previous taxes to show them so how can i prove my identity?

Please read this IRS document on what to do when you receive a 4883-C letter. Explain to them that this is the first year you file a tax return and they will ask questions to verify your identity. This is very straight-forward and there is nothing to worry about.

@domthechrom I was not able to verify over the phone. I now have an appointment to go in to verify.  They told me to bring birth certificate, social security card, photo Id and this years taxes. I hope they are able to verify yours on phone. Good luck:)
