Printed means the tax return has not been e-filed.

Verify the status of an e-filed tax return using this TurboTax website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If the website indicates Rejected or No Record Found for the state return then it was not e-filed.  If you did not print and mail the state tax return then it has not been filed.

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  See screenshot

This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return.  To e-file the state return, follow this procedure -

  1. Select State from the menu on the left (on mobile devices, tap in the upper-left corner to open the menu).
  2. On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue and follow the onscreen instructions.

If the state tax return cannot be e-filed then print and mail the tax return using the procedure in this TurboTax support FAQ - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1944348-how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online
