My last name is spelled wrong by the last letter on my return tf I do?

If you haven't filed your return, you can fix the spelling of your last name in TurboTax by following these steps:

1. While in your Tax Home,
2. Select Personal Info,
3. Select Review/Edit,
4. Select Edit next to your name.
5. You can correct the spelling of your name on this screen.

The IRS matches the first 4 letters of your last name with your Social Security Number, if that is incorrect then your return will reject and you can fix your name. If you misspelled your first name or the end of your last name and your return is accepted by the IRS, then it is too late to correct it now.
