Yes, if she meets all the qualifications of being a dependent on your return.
After your daughter's return is processed she would have to file an amended return NOT claiming herself and then you would have to either wait for that to be fully processed or wait till it is filed and then paper file your return.
Your daughter cannot amend her return until approx. mid-February.
Once the return has been filed it cannot be stopped (unless you get extremely lucky and IRS would reject it for some reason).
So you have to wait for the return to be processed and you get your refund.
Then approx mid-February you can sign back into TurboTax and do the Amended return.
You have not told us enough about her. How old is she? Was she a full-time student in 2018? Did she have more than $4150 of income in 2018?
She is 18. She is not a full time student. She had more than $4150. In 2018.
They are under the age of 19 (or 24 for full-time students).
No age limit for permanently and totally disabled children.
They live with you for more than half the year (exceptions apply).
They didn't provide more than half of their own support for the year.
You are OK to claim her then.
She put that no one else was able to claim her as a dependent. I looked at the stuff you sent it has to be ammended. I dont want to mess her refund up or mine. I guess i have to wait to ammend it
