My boyfriend accidentally claimed my son, but then we got it amended and he was unclaimed, but now my taxes are rejected saying I still cannot claim my my son ?

The IRS is backlogged and has not processed amended returns so your child still shows as claimed by him.  Your only option is to file by mail as IRS system will take up to 6 weeks or longer to show the changes.

Sorry you have to mail your return this year even if he amended his return.  Once a ssn has been used you can't efile it again.  So you don't have to wait to mail your return.

Even if I mail it in, am I able to still claim my son even though my bf amended return still hasn’t been processed? Or is still being processed? I know it takes up two 20 weeks and I’m not sure if I can even file claiming him still at that point.

Yes you can claim him if you mail.   The IRS may send you both letters to determine who qualifies to claim him.
