My amended 2023 taxes were e filed & accepted, however, it shows that I'll receive paper check instead of direct deposit like before. I need DD pls! How do I do this?

If you did not request a Direct Deposit when filing the amended return, then you will receive a refund check in the mail sent to the address on the amended return.  You cannot change the method of receiving a refund after the return has been filed and accepted.

If you requested a direct deposit and the IRS changed to sending a check you cannot request a different method of receiving the refund for the amended return.

A Form 8888 cannot be used with an amended tax return.
