My 2019 online taxes were accepted and I want to view and save to my desk top. How do I retrieve and save?

To save a copy of your 2019 tax return that you filed this year, sign back in to your account and either:

  • Select Download/print return if your return has been accepted.
  • Scroll down to under Your tax returns & documents (select Show if needed) and select Download/print return (PDF).
  1. Once your return has downloaded, locate the PDF and open it.
  2. Select Print at the top of the screen.and then select "save as pdf" from the drop down
  3. Select save, then the location where you want to save the file and name it.

@Mary Ann if it is taking a long time to download, you may want to try to clear your browser's cache and delete the cookies stored on your computer. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. Please see the below FAQ for instructions on how to clear the cache and delete cookies:

It sounds like your return required forms and schedules not supported by the free version of TurboTax. Please click here to see the pricing tiers and the included tax situations. You might still qualify for IRS Free File, though. Please click here to learn more.

Also, you can view your fees by clicking on the "Tax Tools" option on the left-hand menu bar, then choose "Tools", then "My Fees".
