multiple 1099NECS

I have 5 1099-NECs and each one generates its own Sch C. How do I work around this as I am a sole proprietor? Do I delete all of them and enter the grand totals myself? Will this trigger an IRS look see? Or any problem with efile? Sorry the last one was blank - other windows appear that are distracting.

Yes, you should delete all the separate 1099-NECs you entered. Since you are a sole-proprietor, you will enter this income in the self-employment section, which gets reported on Schedule C.

In order to report the income from your 1099-NECs, here are the steps:

  1. Navigate to Federal > Wages & Income > Self-employment income and expenses > Add/Edit
  2. Edit your business
  3. Scroll to Income, then select Add income for this work
  4. Choose 1099-NEC as the type of income and answer the interview questions that follow.
