Move and work in Ohio in 2015.But sold my home in GA in 2016. I am filing MFJ for 2016. Can I select Ohio as my residency for 2016?

Yes, where you own a house is not necessarily where you are a resident.  For taxes, state use "domicile" which is the place you consider home for residency so you are a full year resident of Ohio.
