Modeling 2020 taxes with 2019 Desktop

I filed 2019 taxes with the online version.  I want to model 2020 taxes using the 2019 desktop version because the Taxcaster doesn't save results.

My question is, can I be sure that the desktop version will in no way communicate with the online version? I do not want to contaminate my 2019 return.

The desktop version is totally separate form the online version.   Tax information on the desktop only exists on your computer.

Thanks...one more question, will the desktop create a .tax file that will overwrite the .tax file that I downloaded from the online version.  I will load the .tax downloaded from the online version onto the desktop version but don't want it to overwrite.  I hope there is a way to rename the output of the desktop version.
