If you entered incorrect banking information for your refund, you can change it if your return is rejected.  If it is accepted, however, it is too late to change it.  The bank will reject the refund and send it back to the IRS.  Then the IRS will issue a paper check and mail it to the address you put on your tax return.

Ok. So my bank should reject it considering I didn't enter enough numbers for the account number and it'll recognize that it doesn't match my name or information correct?

That is how it is supposed to work. It will delay your refund by at least a week or more.

Ok that it fine. I just didn't want to be giving someone an early Christmas present with my refund.  Thanks a lot.
