Ive been audited by the state they want a form i dont have i was paid cash what do i do

I was Paid cash now the state wants proof what do i need

You need to give them whatever records you have: receipts; bank statements, notarized statements from whomever paid you the cash, etc.. The IRS and states have been cracking down on cash income taxpayers, especially relative to EIC.

Ask the state what they will accept.
