Its been 37 days since i filed my taxes. TurboTax says it was accepted but irs says still processing.... whats going on???

says federal return accepted 2/10/2021 on turbo tax. i received nothing in the mail as far as a problem? cant get ahold of anyone to find out.

The IRS is way behind in processing returns. You have to be patient.

I get they are behind and I am trying to be patient... its hard when your a single parent of 2 kids behind on bills. I was one of the first 100 people to file because turbo tax insisted I get my taxes done first thing to get them quick and look what that did! NOTHING! My mom who filed two weeks after me got her taxes already.. sorry not trying to complain just is frustrating, I'm sure everyone is frustrated.  Thank you for replying 🙂

IRS says still processing no date given

Th IRS does not process on First In First Out, and there are several million folks still waiting for their 2019 tax refunds.  Going forward you can change your withholding so that you do not have to wait for a refund at tax time next year.
