TurboTax does not receive any money from the IRS or is involved with the stimulus payments.
I’ve seen cases where people’s stimulus has been deposited on another bank account they had on file before. Might want to check if that’s the case?
Yes TurboTax holds stimulus payment. I received a email from turbo
tax stating my deposit has arrived and how much it is but it is still will not available in my account until April 30. It is April 27th. So yes, they hold it to collect interest from your money before releasing it to you.
Turbo is not TurboTax and the Turbo Credit card is provided by GreenDot bank. TurboTax is not a bank and doe not receive any money - that is all handled by the bank.
So why are they sending messages like these and yet claiming they don't hold deposits?

That is Green Dot Bank, not TurboTax and almost all banks have 5 day holding periods on deposits from any source. My Credit Union & Wells Fargo holds all deposits for 5 days. Standard banking procedure.
