Is there anyway I can get my refund when it was originally supposed to come by not using the Earned Income Credit after I’ve already filed?

My refund was originally supposed to come early but I received another one saying it cannot come early because of the Earned Income Credit. Can I take the EIC out somehow so I can still get my refund early?

No, that is not possible.

No, Once your taxes are submitted and accepted TurboTax has no access to your return.

  • The IRS takes over.
  • The IRS does give us updates from time to time, but they are generated by the IRS and we merely forward the information.
  • Once the IRS has your return it must be completely process before you can change (or Amend) it.
