Is it possible to track the progress of my refund after I have sent in my verification to sbtpg?

Is there a phone number to call at sbtpg where I can get a person on the line?

If you chose to pay your TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund, your funds will first go from the IRS to a temporary account at an intermediary bank--either Civista Bank of Sandusky, Ohio, or Green Dot Bank.  At the intermediary bank the fees are subtracted, then the rest of your funds are sent on to your bank (or prepaid debit card) in a second deposit.  The company that handles that is SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group.)

Less commonly there can be delays at the intermediary bank, and additional ID info, etc. might be required.

If for any reason the second deposit fails (the one that is actually to your bank or card), it will bounce back to SBTPG's bank who will issue you a paper check in the mail.

Once the IRS has released your funds, you can log in to your temporary account at SBTPG to see the status of your funds.

To log in, choose the taxpayer portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/

SBTPG has a phone contact page at the following link.  It also shows their business hours.  Even when they are closed, you may be able to get automated info, or you can log in as above.

What does May 10 have to do with it?    Where did you see that date?   If that date was provided by TurboTax, that is an estimate based on past averages.    The IRS has a lot of delays in processing returns this year for a number of reasons, affecting many filers.

Or is that a date the IRS provided you on their website?

What do you see when you use this IRS "Where's My Refund" tool?  Has the IRS released your Federal refund, or is it still being processed?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

You used the word "check" a couple of times, so are you expecting a paper check in the mail from the IRS instead of a direct deposit?

Why are you posting in this particular thread, which is about verification with an intermediary company SBTPG?   That company is used when fees are paid out of the Federal refund.  Is that your situation, or are you posting in the wrong thread??

If you did choose to pay fees out of your Federal refund, that option requires direct deposit, so I'm not sure why you are mentioning a "check"  unless you're referring to a failed direct deposit.
