Is it possible to get the taxes back if I informed yall that I was an employee with a J-1 visa?

Hi, I'm an aboard student who applied to the 2023 summer work and travel program, had two jobs, and was wondering if I can get tax back, all of it, or some of it legally.  I would appreciate your help.

NON RESIDENT ALIEN

If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:

Yes, xmasbaby0 is correct and you must use Sprintax to complete and file your return.

Yes, it is possible. Many J-1 international students are entitled to claim refunds on both federal and state taxes. You can do this by filing your tax return.  Once you complete your return you will know how much if any you can get refunded.
