Is it okay to file now? I was told the irs will not process until the 12th of February

TurboTax will let you e-file now BUT your return will sit on TurboTax servers until the IRS opens up their e-file system on Feb. 12th.  While it is on TurboTax servers you cannot get it back, or make any changes to your return, so before you e-file early, make sure you do not need to add or change any information on your return.
