IRS2Go says that my is $2000 dollars less for past tax obligations. I bought the audit protection with you guys. Can you check that out with IRS for me?

You were not audited so the audit service can do nothing for you ... wait for the IRS letter explaining why the refund was less and where the money went.   If you had past taxes owed then there will also be penalties and interest added to the old amount ... you should know what is going on since the IRS should have been sending you bills for this amount.

If you look at the bottom of this IRS Q&A, you will see a list of reasons why your refund may be different than what was shown on your tax return: https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions

As Critter said in the response above, the IRS will send you a letter explaining the difference and telling you what to do if you disagree with them.
