IRS rejection

Prepared a joint return for a woman whose husband died in 2024. Return passed all Turbo Tax's tests for efiling. Turbo Tax asked for wife's 2022 AGI. IRS rejected because it needed husband's AGI. Not sure that is a glitch in Turbo Tax when it involves the death of a spouse in the next calendar/tax year. Changed the 2022 AGI to husband's and return was accepted.

If the couple filed a joint return for 2022 the AGI is the same amount for each spouse.  You just use the amount from line 11 of their 2022 Form 1040.
