IRS refund tracking said my refund is going to my bank account. How can I make sure that it's going on my card not my bank account?

Please note that if you have already filed your return and it has been accepted by the IRS, you will not be able to make any changes on how you receive your refund.

You can view your direct deposit information by selecting the File tab at the top of your TurboTax account , select step 2 which will allow you to view where your refund will be deposited.

The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-file has been accepted (received), not 21 days from the e-filing date. Wait 24 hours after your federal return has been accepted before looking it up at Where's My Refund?

If Where's My Refund states that the funds have been deposited and you have not received them into your designated account, contact an IRS customer service representative to correct any agency errors by calling 800-829-1040 (toll-free) Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., local time (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Puerto Rico, local time). Unfortunately, this may result in you receiving a paper check.
