TurboTax is a tax preperation service. Once it's all ready, the IRS processes it and finalizes the details for your refund/money owed. As long as you paid for the TurboTax service you're good to go from us!
Turbo Tax only can check the entries you made. It wouldn't know if you entered something wrong or entered it in the wrong place. And Turbo Tax won't know if you left some income off. Or if you claimed a dependent you weren't qualified to claim.
So what did the IRS change? Read the whole letter over slowly and carefully. It will say.
My issue is that turbo tax said it was good to go and it wasn't.
