Instructions for people who had fees deducted and got an advance loan

Okay, this is not a question so will probably get locked, but.

FOR THOSE OF US WHO GOT A REFUND ADVANCE ONTO A TURBO DEBIT CARD, AND HAD FEES DEDUCTED FROM OUR RETURN:

You need to go to https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments and get into the "Get My Payment" tool. Your stimulus check was probably deposited to TPG bank, the bank handling the advance loans, and they rejected it (sent it back to the IRS), so the IRS doesn't know where to send your payment.

Go to the "Get My Payment" tool, keep trying until you get in -- it took me like 10 tries because I kept getting errors. Have your most recent tax return near you, enter the information they ask for, and GET YO PAYMENT (after a few days, the IRS does still need to initiate direct deposit).

Please hit the thumbs up if this was helpful to you, so that maybe it won't get closed and other people can see this who need it.
