Indiana dor is requesting copy of 2017 federal return and has hold on my refund until they get it. will this hold up my federal refund also?

This should not impact the speed of the Federal refund.  

Each State has different things to look at and need, and IRS will continue to process the Federal returns regardless of what the States are doing.
