In year 2015, line 30, I believe I made a mistake and selected repaid or received unemployment benefits in the amount of over 2000.$ can I amend this year and redo?

Irs is penalizing me now...help

Did you put in unemployment benefits that you didn't actually receive in 2015? If that's the case, then you should amend your 2015 return and remove that income, which should give you a refund of the tax paid on that amount.
