In process

I think something is wrong too. I didn’t file the EIC for a child as my ex and I rotate that each year— but I did file the EITC & has an additional 2,077.00 taken out of my paycheck last year. Filed on 1/29 and accepted on 1/30 and now it just says it’s in process. Several people I know that get back well over 5,000.00 have received theirs already, even after filing after I did. Wonder if something is going on?

The IRS gives the actual deposit date and issues most refunds in about 21 days, although some returns take more time to review. TurboTax will not get updates about your refund status. The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2019, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. Additionally, the following link provides helpful information on estimated refund due dates based on date of filing:

You will find the most current information on the IRS website.
