Im trying to file a amendment for this year 2018 online how can i do that. I filed with Jackson hewitt and got money back already this year.

How do I do a amendment return online..

Since you did not use TurboTax for your original return it would be very hard to amend with TurboTax.  All your original information would have to be entered just as it was when you filed your return.  Then try to do an amendment.  Amended returns are mailed.

It would be better if you went back to Jackson Hewitt and have them amend your return.

No one here would know how Jackson Hewitt prepared your return.  You say you went online and filed, I hope you did not send in another return.  

You can use the IRS amendment form (1040X) & manually amend.  Amended return must be mailed.

If you need to amend a state return you can check your states website for their amendment forms

The only thing you can do is either enter all your original information into the program, then to make it think you filed, choose to file by mail, then go through the amendment interview.  Or to amend your return manually with the above amended forms.

I did go back their and I was willing to pay the 70 dollars but she tired to tell me that I would owe money and I know she had to do something wrong cause I am a  Server, I dont Make that much money.

Also when I went online and filed it not as a amendment it said I was getting back 2000 dollars how would that be any different.

No I didnt send it I stop when it gives you a  Estimated return.
