Not sure what you mean by getting back the "full amount"----if you have a W-2, you can get a refund from box 2 and/or box 17 of the W-2 -- federal and state tax withheld.  You will not ever get back the amounts that were withheld for Social Security or Medicare.   That is not different for minors.

If you can be claimed as a dependent, then it will be very important for you to say on your own tax return that someone else can claim you as a dependent.   If you are under the age of 19--- or under the age of 24 if you are a full-time student---you can still be claimed as a dependent by your parents.   In My Info it will ask if you can be claimed by someone else.  You must say yes.

Just because you are a minor does not mean you get a full refund automatically. If your income is low enough, you will get a full refund. Otherwise, you join those supporting our country, paving roads, etc.

Take a look at your return. See How do I preview my TurboTax Online return before filing?

You can look up your tax liability based on your taxable income to double check for yourself.

Congratulations on your hard work!
