We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question? What do you mean by it's not showing up?

on IL web site It asks if i checked either box in IL-1040 Step 1 line C  which is can anyone claim you.  which i did not check.

Illinois Department of Revenue  2023 Form IL-1040, Line 10a Exemption Allowance Chart

Filing Status  Single*

Did you check either box on IL-1040, Step 1,  Line C?  No

Base income fromIL-1040, Line 9 or Schedule NR, Line 46

**any amount

Exemption Amount  — Enter this amount on IL-1040, Step 4, Line10a:    $2,425

*Single filing status includes Head of Household, Widowed, and Married filing separately.

Turbo Tax puts in $0  not the $2425   the state website gives me the exemption

Yes, there's one other reason you may not get your Illinois personal exemption.

If your federal filing status is single, Head of Household, or Married
Filing Separately, and your federal AGI (line 11 of Form 1040) is more than
$250,000, you aren't entitled to an exemption allowance on Line 10.
Enter “zero” on Line 10.
