If my wages are showing up on ssa does that mean my tax return is done processing

Not necessarily-your employer provides the social security administration with the wages that FICA is applied to (the information on your W2), but you have to file your actual tax return before the IRS processes your tax refund.

Yes, even though it is the same information, each agency handles it differently, and your employer reports it to you, the IRS and the SSA at the same time but the IRS needs the tax forms separate

I think you would only be able to tell that if your self employed and only report at the end of the year when you file.
