If my original return was $3,680 on my federal return and I have NOT received my return and then I amend it and the federal number says $3,752 how much should I get?

I haven't received anything yet but I know the original number meant I was getting back $3,680

You are supposed to wait until your original return has been fully processed before you send in an amended return, to avoid confusion and long delays.
