If irs status says sent does that mean no offset was taken out of it?

Most likely or they would show that you had a reduced refund or some other status.

It says status sent but has topic 203 saying refund might be offset. Would it say sent if there was an offset larger then refund? The might be is what throws me off. N all the numbers I call for it say it might be offset. So how do I know if status says sent

I am in the same boat thought my whole refund was going to be offset i just checked and now it says whole amoint was sent to bank. However nothing has posted to my account. FULL PANIC MODE

derekhightower just happen to me a couple hrs ago offset was larger then refund offset line saying they taking it on auto system but irs site sayin refund sent no bank deposit

Me to!!! Any update yet? Mines says sent but i have a student loan offset why would it say that if there suppose to take my refund ??

Mines too! It says it was of set and remaining balance was sent to my bank but I call the offset number and it says my full refund amount so I'm confused, anybody else get any updates?

Same here  wmr say they applied what owe and amount I receive and this morning have 203

Sorry to bother you, but what ever up happening with your situation.   I'm dealing with the same thing.  It says I have an offset, then it showed the new adjusted amount and the where's my refund bar says that the new amount was sent to my bank.  Do you know what i should expect?

You can get information by looking up your refund at the IRS Where's My Refund page. It will usually take up to 5 business days to see the funds in your account. Please refer to the article below to understand a refund offset.
