If I was filed as a denpendent last year would I have to put as if I filed last year?

A dependent can file their own tax return.   If you did not file a tax return for income you received from working, then you say you did not file..  Being claimed as someone else's dependent is not "filing" a tax return.   

If your issue is that your e-file is being rejected for AGI, try using "zero" as your AGI.
