If I'm waiting on a letter from the IRS with a control number they need to process my return but I don't live there anymore and can't get live assistance. What do I do?
Where's my refund didn't mention any tasks I needed to do in order to fix the issue.

If your address has changed since you filed your tax return you need to give your new address to the IRS.
If you are on an IRS page requesting a control number you don't have, and you don't have an online account, instead request the form be mailed to you again.
